In the most egregious case of the left eating its own EVER, the left forced its nominee to drop out BECAUSE of his horrible debate performance. Remarkably, the fact that he was FORCED out was simply glossed over by the media, who are ecstatic with the idea of Harris as the nominee.

Hamas attacks Israel
Typically, when an American ally gets attacked by a known terror group, everyone comes together to support our ally. Apparently, the caveat to this rule is when the Democrats are split between supporting Hamas and supporting their Jewish allies in the middle east. So now Muslim Democrats and Jewish Democrats are at odds with each other, making a very awkward situation for Democrat politicians. The Democrats must now only speak in platitudes, such as "we support Israel's right to defend itself" and "we need to minimize loss of life" but without specifics on making either of these happen. So no one on either side is happy.

There was a time when being a good feminist was enough to mark you as an excellent leftist. Unfortunately for JK, a recently invented term ("TERF") is used as a weapon to attack her leftist credentials. Apparently, a traditional "womens' rights" activist is not enough to be part of the liberal club anymore.
